Thunder sounded through the night. It was late. Too late to walk alone...
Tick...
Tock...
I looked at my watch. I had to get home soon. More thunder. Something wasn't right. Something felt off.
Drip...
Drip...
Crash!
As I walked through the empty street I felt myself shiver. It was cold.
Stomp...
Drag...
I could hear foot steps behind me.
Stompers...
Drag...
I turned and to my relief it was just a little girl.
Drip...
Drip...
Crash!
I looked at her. "Are you lost?" I asked her. She looked sad and pale and thin. She had blonde hair and her brown eyes had this somewhat sunken look to them. She nodded. I looked at her for a minute then realized, "you're hurt!" I exclaimed picking her up.
Drip...
Drip...
Crash!
I took her home and tended to her wounds. She didn't have a name so I just called her doll. I listened as she sang a song. It was cute but the words were sad.
"I need some one to love me,
I want to learn to play,
Please take me home with you,
And brush my tear away."
I smiled slightly at her soon she fell asleep and I carried her to a bed.
Tick...
Tock...
I ended up falling asleep shortly after her. I woke up around midnight and stood from the couch. I thought I heard her singing. I noticed her in her room sitting at the window  with her back turned to me. The song sounded distorted and chilling. She turned and smiled at me. "Play with me." She said. I noticed the knife in her hand. She had taken a translucent quality. She was there but she wasn't. I backed up slightly but she inched toward me.
Step...
Drag...
She inched toward her broken leg dragging behind her. My heart pounded in my chest. I turned and ran. I had never been so afraid of a child in my life.
Recently I have seen these adorable yet creepy dolls called Little Miss No Name dolls. I decided why not write a story about this charmingly haunting dolls? I'm also going to be converting the little poem on the box into a creepy song. :)
